    Katie is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA, TRX Instructor Certified, HKC Dragondoor Kettlebell Certified Instructor, Spinning and Schwinn certified, AFAA Primary Group Fitness certified, and CPR/AED.
    Katie’s Teaching Philosophy: I believe that training should be FUN but also a challenge. If something does not challenge you, it does not change you. No one ride is ever the same. This not only continues to challenge the body but keeps workouts fun and fresh!

    My journey into fitness began at the ripe age of 4. I took swimming lessons and I caught on pretty quickly. I was asked to join the swim team,but due to getting numerous sore throats my parents didn’t think it would be in my best interest at that time. I then took gymnastic lessons and joined the team and competed at the meets. After I retired as a gymnast I decided to teach other gymnast at the Y.M.C.A. I really enjoyed this and loved seeing the growth in the gymnasts’skilIs. Throughout my life I have always been active in some type of phyical activity. Currently I am studying to become a certified Health Coach. I am excited to be able to help others become phyisically fit and healthy!
